Announced a few short weeks ago, a nursing home — one of four in Orleans County, in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom — will be closing in late March. 

Former State Representative, Kiah Morris, was first elected in 2014 as the only black female member of the Vermont House. She had to resign in 2018 following months of online harassment that then escalated into her physical world. Through it all, Kiah has continued to be a vocal advocate for justice system reforms that protect all women.
