Kim Nolan of Shelburne Reappointed by House Speaker Krowinski

We’re excited to announce Speaker of the Vermont House Jill Krowinski has reappointed Kim Nolan to serve another term as a VCW Commissioner.

Kim Nolan holds a Ph.D. in Leadership and Change from Antioch University and a M.Ed. from Boston University in Counseling Psychology.  Commissioner Nolan is Founder and Executive Director of the Dignity Foundation, through which she facilitates mindfulness trainings, leadership coaching and keynote presentations; facilitates change management and cultural transformation initiatives within organizations; develops and delivers social justice, diversity & leadership workshops; and as a Buddhist Chaplain, provides spiritual care during life transitions, crisis, and the grief process. Commissioner Nolan is currently the Graduate Programs Director of UVM’s Business School. Previously, she was on the leadership team of Burlington’s City Market, served as Program Director of the Master’s program in Mindfulness Studies at Lesley University. She was Program Officer of the Mind and Life Institute, designing the Academy of Contemplative and Ethical Leadership, and also served as Department Chair of Integral Psychology at Burlington College, where she founded The Institute of Contemplative Studies.  She has been a champion for women’s rights and is a lifelong activist for social change and an advocate for human rights.
