Developed by Women's Preventive Services Initiative, a federally supported collaborative program led by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Well-Woman Chart provides women information about preventive health care services recommended for their age group. The Well-Woman Chart is updated each year and available in both interactive or print versions. DFR responds promptly and completely to consumers’ insurance and financial questions and complaints, assist consumers in resolving those complaints whenever possible, and helpsconsumers understand their options.
Operates the Healthcare External Appeals Process where consumers can request review of their health insurer’s decision to deny coverage for or payment of a service by an independent third-party not related to the insurer or consumer. An external appeal is available if the insurer denies coverage on the basis of medical necessity, or because it determines that the care is experimental or investigational. The external reviewer will either uphold or reverse the insurer’s decision, and the decision is binding on the insurer.

Lund’s services ‘wrap around’ the whole family to provide services to parents, children, and sometimes, other family members as well. We support you in addressing all the challenges you face, and our programs work together to make sure that families are empowered to become happy, stable, and self sufficient. Programs include:
Adoption: We are a full-service adoption agency, coordinating both infant adoption and adoption of older children in foster care; life-long family support services; counseling for pregnant women and birthfathers; and services for adoptees, adoptive families and birthparents seeking information and connection.

Family Assistance Centers
The Family Assistance Centers (FAC’s) are designed to assist military families throughout all phases of deployment. FAC’s are a “One Stop Shop” for service members and their families to obtain updated resources and supports available. This includes Emergency Financial Assistance, Support for Children/Youth & Adult Family Members, TRICARE Questions/Problem Resolution, Crisis Intervention and Assistance, Tax Filing Assistance, Problem Solving, Peer Connection, and Red Cross Notification Assistance. Outreach efforts into community agencies are conducted to assure updated information is being provided and to reinforce supports available to the military community.

The National Guard Sexual Assault Prevention & Response Program is part of a Department of Defense-wide initiative to end sexual assault in the military and encourage Service members to protect and defend one another against unwanted sexual contact. Through preventative education, civilian partnerships, bystander intervention, and victim advocacy, SAPR empowers Service members to report incidents they’ve experienced, and recognize when they or someone they know may be in a dangerous situation.

The Women Veterans Health Program at White River Junction provides services including gynecology, mental health (including issues surrounding post-traumatic stress disorder, military sexual trauma, depression, drug and alcohol dependence), medical social work, nutrition, pharmacy, osteoporosis evaluation through DEXA scans, mammography and maternity care.
