The Vermont Commission on Women has a job opening for a Communications & Outreach Coordinator. We’re looking for an energetic, skilled, and resourceful person who is dedicated to gender equity and social justice to join our tight-knit, highly collaborative team.
The Communications & Outreach Coordinator contributes to our mission of advancing rights and opportunities for women, girls, and gender-expansive people in Vermont through:
- day-to-day communications management and strategic public relations and marketing
- developing and implementing public education initiatives, materials, and campaigns
- representing the Commission at public settings and in coalitions
- contributing to a variety of projects including events and programs
Work is done under the direction of the Executive Director with a high degree of autonomy, and much of it (although not all) may be done remotely.
