The mission of Outright Vermont (ORVT) is to build safe, healthy, and supportive environments for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth. ORVT is one of the longest standing queer organizations in Vermont and the only one that works specifically with young people. By striving to empower queer youth, model positive cross-generational learning and leadership, and to address lateral oppressions including racism, classism, and heterosexism, ORVT is building a safer, healthier, and more supportive world for all young people. Outright Vermont provides a drop-in center, youth group, zine publishing group and women’s group for LGBTQ Vermont youth (22 and under).

The Vermont Diversity Health Project's (VDHP's) mission is to improve the health and wellness of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) Vermonters by building bridges between health care providers and LGBTQ people throughout the state. R.U.1.2.? Community Center celebrates, educates, and advocates with and for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer Vermonters. RU12? is now the largest Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) organization in Vermont, and the only LGBTQ Community Center in the state. They work in close coalition with many other organizations including Outright Vermont, the Vermont Freedom to Marry Task Force, and the Vermont Network Against Domestic and Sexual Violence.

The goal of the Gay and Lesbian Fund of Vermont is to help reduce homophobia in Vermont by drawing attention to the positive, constructive contributions the LGBTQA community makes to the general community through charitable giving.
